We now own a high def camcorder like the one above. This is because we will soon be moving toward employing more video online. (You know that box that flickers through pictures at the top of our website? It will soon house video.)
But in order to have video online, you have to shoot video. And download video. And edit video. And post video.
So… if you are a media buff and would have an interest in serving the chruch in this capacity, ole friend Alisa Brugnoli will be consulting us on the basics of the camera and doing the video stuff soon. Email us if you are interested in participating and serving the church some in this way.
We are talking at first just about simple head and shoulder shots to bring people up to speed on Seven Mile life, capture soulcare community stories, enable a monthly prayer update, etc. Maybe we’ll film the preaching if it’s easy. And if we get some really gifted media people, start generating cool videos like this one:
