Repentant Before the Fiery Tempest

Scripture: Psalm 50
Sweat runs down your face as you are called to stand before the blazing glory of God’s holiness. Gold would melt instantly before the fiery tempest of this righteous judge, and so sin cannot remain here. Trembling, you pray. Psalm 50, a song of warning and call to repentance, orients our souls to the infinite purity of the living God and the salvation that He holds our for the righteous.
