Jesus' great mission for His church was not that we would attract people to hip worship services with cool music, dazzling multimedia, and a cool vibe where they could sit, watch, stand, leave. Nope. He commanded His followers to make disciples. 'Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'
We could unpack the beauty of that paragraph from now until the end of the age... but instead, we thought it would be good if we got busy obeying Christ and intentionally providing pathways for disciples to be made along the Seven Mile Road.

These are our smaller environments where where discipleship, community, and soulcare can happen in the lives of our people, face to face, life on life, Jesus style. These communities are a place of Word and Spirit, victory and failure, joy and confession, questions and more questions, laughter and prayer. If you are going to be a part of what is happening among us, these communities are probably for you.
