seven mile on the city
Seven Mile Road is growing larger. God is blessing us in that way, and we are grateful for it.
At the same time, we are growing smaller (yes, even as we run out of seats). This is happening as smaller groups of us share life together in soulcare communities, as handfuls of us gather weekly for prayer and as individuals commit to building relationships with each other.
Another big part of “growing smaller as we grow bigger” is finding ways to communicate more effectively. Toward that end, this Spring we are implementing something called The City.
The City is a web-based software designed to help churches lead people into deeper local community. Much more than another Facebook, The City provides us with an opportunity to communicate better, serve better, love 021 better and, ultimately, fight for joy in Jesus better. Our ability to share stories, prayer requests, needs and other information in a safe and secure manner has never been greater than it will be with The City. Since each user will be able to tailor their City experience to their own preferences, the possibilities for helpful connections with what’s happening at Seven Mile Road are endless, so no one will be out of the loop anymore.
