sergio mazza
My name is Sergio Mazza. I was born and raised in New York city where a love for soccer was instilled by my Argentine father and my love for Jesus by my Argentine Mother.
I am married to an awesome women, Aly, who like myself, is a teacher. We have a beautiful little boy, who never seems to be done eating. Currently, we live in Revere, MA, where the roast beef and bakeries have gotten a hold of me.
I felt a call to ministry in Houghton college, where I worked with youth and traveled abroad. There I majored in sociology and intercultural studies. I continued my education completing a Masters of Divinity at Gordon-Conwell.
At the Church I have recently become a new addition to the elder track and will begin serving couples by coordinating and leading discussion for "One." A gathering that seeks to stregnthen marriges in couples and couples-to-be through a community of support and Gospel-centered principles. When thinking about my own marriage and what love means I'm blown away by this verse.
"This is how we know what love is: Jesus laid down his life for us."
(1 John 3:16 NIV).
My hope and prayer is that all of us, whether married or single, will see the depth of God's love, and as a result respond in love to Him and others.
