Yeah, we take preaching pretty seriously in the life of our church.
See, there are many ways that the living, personal, sovereign God can speak to us, but there is one way He promises to, and that is through the speaking of the Gospel. When God's Word is preached and the words hit our ears, God's Spirit drives them down to our hearts, causing faith to well up, accomplishing His redemptive work.
And so we expect our pastors to be real diligent in their preparation to preach, and we expect our people to come weekly with humble and anxious hearts ready to listen and respond. And when preached Word meets ready hearts, good, Gospel stuff goes down.
