carol ann desiderio
My name is Carol Ann Desiderio. I work here at Seven Mile Road trying to keep these guys administratively organized.
I found Seven Mile Road when I was invited to come to church by a friend of mine during a pretty dark period in my life. Somehow, through the pastors, through the Scriptures, through the love I felt within this church, God just spoke to me. I knew this was the place I needed to be to learn and grow. I kept coming back; that was November 2004, I’ve been doing church here ever since.

My loving husband, Eugene, and I both grew up here in Malden and are happily raising our family in the city as well. We have three wacked out children, David, Megan, and Leo, and one hyper puppy, Bobbi, who work very hard to keep me on my toes. I have recently gone back to school and am currently studying the areas of History & Government and Sociology.
The most empowering statement I have ever made is, “I love you, Lord. I trust you. I cannot do this alone. Please take my life and help me live according to Your will.” Giving up my power, empowered me? YES! That’s because it wasn’t really power, but rather ego I was letting go of. Once I did, a whole new world opened up for me. God has blessed my life in so many ways, none of which am I deserving. That is the miracle and wonder of God’s grace.
So~ it is here I have been called to serve by sharing my love for Jesus and witnessing to the glory of God in my life. I am very excited about this path on which I have been led. Life is about the journey; I cannot wait to see what my Lord has in store for me next but I look forward with a faithful and willing heart.
