Seven Mile Road participates with two different networks of churches. Each of these are organized in a way that the local church retains autonomy in working out the issues of its mission with the support of the group. Just think top-down and then flip it over. Well, actually, flip is sideways, as our church structure is bent on participating in the sending work of the Triune God. Anyway, here are our partners in crime... I mean mission.
First is the Acts29 Church Planting Network... a fascinating collection of churches that are on the front-edge of experimenting with what it looks like to do urban, contextualized, Jesus-centered, missional church in emerging cities and cultures. So fun to participate with this crowd.
Second is the CCCC-USA (please don't quiz us on what all the cs stand for)... a wonderful conference of churches with proven track records of majoring in the majors and doing good local ministry in New England and beyond. Our planting church (Forestdale Community) is 4Cs and we have loved being adopted into the family.
